How it works
- Create your d-vc card
- Buy a blank NTAG215 card, sticker or keychain online (Amazon or Flipkart, usually Rs 40-80)
- Open the NFC page in your dashboard and follow the steps to write the link to your NFC tag
- Tap the tag on a phone to open your card
How to write your card link to an NFC tag
Your first tap may say "Empty tag" or "New tag collected". That is normal: a new tag has nothing on it yet. You write your card link once, then any phone that taps the tag opens your card.
Android
1Install the free NFC Tools app (by wakdev) from Play Store.
2In NFC Tools: tap Write, then Add a record, then URL / URI.
3Paste your card link (copy it from the Share option of your card) into the URL box.
4Tap Write, then hold the back of your phone against the tag until it says it was written.
5Test it: tap the tag on another phone. Your card should open.
iPhone
1Install the free NFC Tools app (by wakdev) from the App Store. Writing needs iOS 13 or newer (iPhone 7 or newer).
2Do the same steps: Write, Add a record, URL / URI, paste your link, Write, then hold the top back edge of the iPhone to the tag.
Tip: use NTAG213, NTAG215 or NTAG216 tags. They are cheap and work on almost every phone.
Do not lock the tag. Locking makes it read-only forever, so you could never change the link later. Skip any "lock" option in the app.

- You can also share the same card by link or QR code
Questions
Do I need a special app?
Writing the tag works from Chrome on Android, or the free NFC Tools app on iPhone. Opening the card needs nothing: tapping works on any recent phone.
Where do I get an NFC card?
d-vc does not sell physical cards. Buy a blank NTAG215 card, sticker or keychain online (Amazon, Flipkart), usually Rs 40-80. Then write your d-vc card link to it from the NFC page in your dashboard.
